Hi all
I upgraded to Mint 20.1 (latest one) and now the closing menu never offers to shut down ! it only suggests to 'put it to sleep' or 'cancel'.
What is going on ?
What could be the solution ?

Timeshift back to before the upgrade to Mint 20.1.What could be the solution ?

Sometimes (rarely) the shutdown button goes away temporarily while a long machine process is taking place. Then it reappears - usually within 30 minutes or less. I suspect your shutdown button was gone for good. We have certainly seen that happen before also.
