Sticky for Updates Issues

Probably could eliminate the vast majority of questions on slow or problems updating with a short tutorial here on how to change to another mirror.

Update Manager actually asks this by default ("Do you want to switch to a local mirror?") .. you can also do this (from Update Manager) by clicking Edit → Software Sources. Not sure if a tutorial is really needed, in this case? People who don't notice that probably won't read a guide anyway in my opinion.
