Which kernel is the non-Edge 21.3 ISO on now?
It's like the subject header says. Which kernel is 21.3 on now? Is it the same as what it was originally released with? Or do the ISOs get updated silently with kernel updates? Would like to download and install the "standard" version of Linux Mint Cinnamon 21.3, but the thing is, the 5.x kernel it shipped with originally doesn't work with my USB WiFi adapter. Only the "Edge" version does. Would like to stay as "standard" as possible here. Someone please advise. Thanks.

Go with the Edge version. It has the same 6.5 kernel you would need to install on the standard version anyway to get wifi working.

Guess I will. Any word on what kernel version 22 will release with?
Re: Which kernel is the non-Edge 21.3 ISO on now?
Whatever Ubuntu 22.04 launches with -- PROBABLY something 6.8.x; since that seems to be the current "stable" release from the kernel devs (and news of the Noble targets from a few days ago)
