Samsung Galaxy laptop no sound in speakers

Post by eucalipt »

Hello everybody. I got a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G laptop (1rst generation) and I installed Mint, most of things seems to work so far except some that I noticed and I would really want to have them work.

sound works only using headphones ( jack 3.5mm ), speakers are completly dead.

any help yould be appreciated. Please forgive my bad english, it is not my native language.

I don't know the differences between the Samsung Galaxy laptops, but this topic from last year Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 has no sound through speakers, only through headphones only had a partial workaround by the end of the topic. I don't know if additional progress has been made since then.

Please provide the output of

Code: Select all

aplay -l
and

Code: Select all

journalctl -k | grep -Ei "ALSA|HDA|sof[-]|HDMI|snd[_-]|sound|hda.codec|hda.intel"
and enclose the results of each in code tags as described in this tutorial: How to use code display tags on forums.linuxmint.com
