Thanks for looking into my sound problem.
The sound does not play via the TV directly (without the amplifier), and I did have Xfce when I first opened tis topic, but switched to Cinnamon for testing purposes. Now I'm running Cinnamon with the 6.5 Edge kernel (which doesn' t make any difference for the sound problem). Please find my complete system settings below.

Please open the System Reports app and click the System Information tab on the left. Your computer's information should come up in the right pane. Then click the Copy button in the lower right and paste the results into a reply window here so we can see how Linux Mint views your hardware.
The partial data you posted indicates you are running Xfce so I'm confused as to why Cinnamon is being discussed.
Also, does the sound work if you don't use the amplifier and just have the TV connected to the computer?
