Greetings folks,

New to LMDE

From my Debian install.

    vendor: Hewlett-Packard driver: rtw89_8852ce v: kernel pcie: speed: 5 GT/s
    lanes: 1 port: 2000 bus-ID: 01:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:c852 class-ID: 0280
IF: wlo1 state: up mac: 40:1a:58:bd:52:6e
Device-2: Realtek RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter driver: r8152 type: USB
    rev: 3.0 speed: 5 Gb/s lanes: 1 bus-ID: 4-1:2 chip-ID: 0bda:8153
    class-ID: 0000 serial: 0010054F4
IF: enx00051bdbb5ec state: up speed: 1000 Mbps duplex: full
    mac: 00:05:1b:db:b5:ec

From my LMDE install

Code: Select all

Network:
  Device-1: Realtek vendor: Hewlett-Packard driver: N/A pcie: speed: 5 GT/s
    lanes: 1 port: 2000 bus-ID: 01:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:c852 class-ID: 0280
Device-2: Realtek RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter type: USB driver: r8152
    bus-ID: 4-1:3 chip-ID: 0bda:8153 class-ID: 0000 serial: 0010054F4
IF: enx00051bdbb5ec state: up speed: 1000 Mbps duplex: full
    mac: 00:05:1b:db:b5:ec
I compiled the rtw8852ce kernel module and installed the realtek firmware but it only supports the rtw8852cu apparently.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
