Change mouse cursor individually

Post by Sayan Bose »

I am using xCursor-Pro-Light cursor pack for my Mint CInnamon 21.3 (Virginia). I like the cursor pack overall, but I don't like the loading icon. How can I change that specific loading icon? I know how to change cursor packs as a whole through System Settings > Themes > Mouse Pointer but I don't know how to individually change a specific one

Your particular cursor theme is stored in /usr/share/icons/XCursor-Pro-Light.

Icon themes can be copied, renamed, and modified. You may do some mix-and-match from other cursor themes, update the new cursor theme name in the folder name and the .theme files, then

Code: Select all

sudo update-icon-caches /usr/share/icons/*
(or use more specific folder paths if you want)
