When I change my power management setting, the changes are shown in the UI and saved even after restart. BUT the don't have any effect my computer still locks the screen after a few minutes of inactivity. Which is quite annoying when rendering projects or watching movies.
For some reason I have two Power Managers:
1. "Power Management" - "Configure power management"
2. "Power Manager" - "Settings for the Xfce Power Manager"
Don't ask me what the Xfce Power Manager is doing there. I use MATE, so it shouldn't be there and that's probably what's causing the problem.
Please tell me, if you need any logs, software or hardware info.
Thanks in advance,
Jolesh
