Hello world, I'm not quite sure if this is the right section, but as you can probably see I am a total newbie here (Yup, just moved from ubuntu!)

So, my question is: is there a way to permanently lock desktlets to their place on the desktop? I'm moving em by mistake too often for my taste!

Well, I can explain to you how it works in KDE, but I don't know which desktop you are using.
Once you have lets us know that there might be somebody who can tell you the answer related to your environment.

Right click on the clear margin of the desklet & choose Lock.
