Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron with AMD Radeon™ HD 7730M 2GB, and unfortunately Cinnamon doesn't work at all with Radeon drivers... it switches to Gnome Fallback.ccsCoder wrote:Does anybody know if Cinnamon runs upon ATI Radeon HD 7670M GPU with fglrx drivers ?

I'm using it with the Intel Graphics, and I hope that Cinnamon 1.6 will solve this issue, because now ATI fans are running at full speed the whole time

Cinnamon working well here, on Radeon HD 7670M, but after a little messing around.
At your own risk if you choose to follow this. How I managed to get fglrx 12.6 working on LMDE 201204 (w/ UP3? -- updated without "incoming"). Requires at least 3.4.x liquorix kernel.

My dual monitor setup with a Radeon 6970 works perfectly. I'm using the newest 12.8 catalyst drivers from AMD's website.
Using the "restricted" drivers were very flaky/unstable.
I used this guide: http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu ... tion_Guide
