Potential errors on boot & shutdown? Doesn't appear to impact performance

Post by djcaptpln880 »

Greetings

I noticed I get some kind of errors on:

1. Boot: something mentioned about firmware problem?
2. Shutdown: don't recall the errors

I didn't take note of the errors but how would I get the errors without having to boot and shutdown and take photos of the errors?

Can you post the result of this terminal command?

Code: Select all

journalctl -b | grep -i firmware
Is the error you saw in there?

I wouldn't worry about these messages as a lot of people get those without having issues.

This one means ACPI detected 2 displays but it says it doesn't know how to switch them. If you do not have problems with your display(s) I wouldn't worry about this one either.
