Actually, once one has heard someone pronounce it correctly, it's fairly easy. And hearing it pronounced correctly is only an internet search away.

That said, that is a beautiful scene!

Was outta the loop for a few days recovering from a medical procedure. Here is a wallpaper Bleys uses and posted the link to. I scaled its smallest dimension to match my resolution and cut horizontal strips from top and bottom to get a properly sized wallpaper from boarder to boarder of screen without any distortion:

For anyone into space image wallpapers, I surfed to a link Bleys provided to a beautiful HD wallpaper. I checked out the main page the link came from and found hundreds of beautiful wallpapers ranging from 1920x1080 to ultra 4K resolutions I was able to crop wallpapers from. I just touched up and saved 43 separate 4K quality 7680x1440 space scene wallpapers!

If anyone is interested here is the link:

Wolvrik you have a real talent for putting together beautiful GUIs. The way the icon packs and the wallpapers compliment each other is fantastic and that conky clock with the highlighted hands to match the wallpaper in this current setup is just the icing on the cake.

I came across something in the forums that may interest you: a completed project to assign different icons and wallpaper etc to different workstations. You change your GUI on a pretty regular basis, this might allow you to keep your best GUIs accessible on extra workstations to enjoy them longer :)

Your image link is broken. Can you get a bulletin board link to it hosted at imgur.com perhaps? I would love to see your work.

Thank you. I spend way too much time fiddling around with this but I enjoy it ha, ha. I do wish more people would post screenshots. Even if they don't think their desktops are great or whatever, I get ideas from seeing other people's creativity. I am seldom completely satisfied with the screenshots I post. I always end up noticing something I overlooked and end up taking another screenshot and replacing the previous one like I am doing today. Anyway, thanks for the tip regarding saving my setups.

I have just been taught by Zcot how to compose a bash script to detect which conky array of widgets is enabled, and to change if necessary on different workspaces! I now have 4 workspaces with individual wallpapers. The workspace project by dj1s saves wallpapers for separate workspaces, but the author is a single monitor user, and hadn't needed to add background image settings support. I am going to request this from him so I can have scaled wallpapers of 2560x1440 and spanned wallpapers of 7680x1440 assigned to different workspaces.

ATM I am set at spanned to support my triple-monitor wallpapers, and I have created 7680x1440 versions of my desired 2560x1440 art by pasting 3 layers of images into a 7680x1440 canvass so it appears that the display settings are changing.

I LOVE the GUI creativity available in Cinnamon :)

Hey Wolvrik, things just took a turn for the awesome!

dj1s has another tutorial up that he gave me the URL to. This one is not just wallpaper and desktop icons, it is also sets cursor style and full theme settings. Different workspaces can start looking drastically different from one another if desired.

I spent an hour or two playing with it and it seems to function perfectly. The project includes switch-space scripts to assign to hotkey combos.

Check it out!

This is one of the most beautiful desktops I've seen. The icon set really matches the wallpaper well.
Now that I am running multiple workspaces, I would like to try to replicate a version of this!

By any chance do you still have links to the wp and icon set?
