I also have a Linux Mint version 8 I had burned. I changed to Mint when Ubuntu went with the Unity desktop, you see under my name I joined this forum in 2011. Here's the Ubuntu CDs they mailed me, 6.06 was in 2006.

I received Ubuntu 6.06 CDs from Mark Shuttleworth as well through their ShipIT service. There were three installation CDs in the package one of which was for Mac. Installation went without any problems and installed system was stable and fast. The free delivery ShipIt program was discontinued in 2011.

Cool! I also keep a small collection of those.... Including the very first: 4.10. Too lazy to go to the attic where they are stored, so:

The very first, Warty Warthog, I may have that around here, but where I wouldn't know, might be in my junk drawer... I mean middle bedroom.
Actually I do think I know what CD holder box thing looking thing, but it's probably buried deep in another box somewhere in that secret no entry room, as my cat calls it lol. Thanks for reminding me what that ones looks like, very cool you hoard... umm.. collect as well

Of course they'll be worth billions of dollars in a couple of years. We're rich!

My MS Trackball Explorer is already almost $500 on Amazon.
I have 2 of them (yes they work. I use them everyday)

I only have modern versions of Linux Mint on DVD, Mint 9, 11, 13, 15, 16.
My brother in Australia got the APC (Australian Personal Computer) magazine and when over there one time,
"Could I have a copy of that please?"
No, just take the DVDs," he said.
So I came home, installed Linux Mint something on a spare computer. After a year I realised I'd booted the Windows mahine a couple of times so the Linux went in the faster computer.
Now it is "Windows? You want them opened or closed or the curtains pulled?"
The Linux Mint 9 was with the APC October 2010, Vol. 30, No. 10 issue.
