How can I edit which application appear as my "favorites" I've spent around 20 mins clicking through menus and cannot find it as of yet...

Editing Favorites Menu?

To remove an application from the favourites menu right click it (in the favourites section) and select "Remove from favourites"
To add an application to the favourites find it in the "normal" menu list. Right click and select "add to favourites".
To change the order applications are shown in the favourites menu click and drag the icon to the position you want. You can also right click on an existing icon and choose to add a space or a separator.
