I have an ASUS tablet, it shows when I open Files. When I try to open it I get "Could not display "mtp://[usb:001,013]/". Error: No such interface 'org.gtk.vfs.Mount' on object at path /org/gtk/vfs/mount/1
Please select another viewer and try again." And a separate "Unable to mount Transformer Prime TF201 Unable to open MTP device '[usb:001,015]'"
I can access the tablet on through Bluetooth (a bit slow).

At the moment, I can open it. It wasn't visable for several hours this morning. All that has happrned is the computer went to sleepwhile I was on the road for a few hours. I came home, hit the space bar, entered my password and it came on. I opened the browser and checked the question, after I copied the first return I pluged in the tablet and it now shows.
Any ideas?

Re: Tablet won't connect
It might help to compare some log files after connecting the tablet to see what is different between when it fails and when it works.
Wait a few minutes after connecting and enter in terminal, but might have more info

Re: Tablet won't connect
I don't know what those log entries mean; but I reset the tablet, to no avail.
A friend was here with a similar tablet this past weekend and he connected without problem so I tried and it worked.
Any ideas, or was it just something set wrong? I'll mark this solved and post again if it comes back.

Re: Tablet won't connect Solved
The errors are all wifi errors, do you have usb debugging enabled on the tablet?
Re: Tablet won't connect Solved
I belive it's off.
Why will wifi errors cause the usb to be off?
