Hey,
I'm not completely sure this is a cinnamon problem, but the calendar is showing the correct date but wrong day of the week (see attachment). The 9th of July was a Thursday (as indicated at the top of the picture), but the calendar says it was a Wednesday.
I have set Monday as the first day of the week in the calendar settings, but Sunday still shows as the first day. Any tips?

Re: Calendar showing correct date but wrong weekday
Can you try with a second theme to see if it's theme related?
Re: Calendar showing correct date but wrong weekday
Switching to Ubuntu Default the calendar is showing the correct day again.
I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 with Cinnamon 2.6.11

Re: Calendar showing correct date but wrong weekday
Then it seems to be a theme related issue.

Hello, Freddox.
You should have mentioned from the start that you use genuine Ubuntu 14.04 with the Cinnamon desktop. In particular you should not have created this thread in the LMDE Forums, Linux Mint Debian Edition.
As LMDE 1 and LMDE 2, both come with Cinnamon, too, you sort of put everybody on the wrong track.
Will have to move the thread to the general Linux sub-forum.
Cheers,
Karl
