Hi!
I've got a humble home network with two Linux Mint machines and Raspberry Pi acting as a NAS/Server, all hooked up to a router.
I plan to wipe out RasPi's content and set it up again, with:
- Two user accounts with the same credentials as Mint machines
- WebDAV server with home directories and a public directory (for all users), accessible also from Internet
- CalDAV server (probably Radicale)
- HTTP server for the public directory (lighttpd?)
- HTTP-based WebDAV browser, in case I need to use someone else's computer to access my resources
- HTTP-based CalDAV viewer/editor
- Remote controlled torrent client (deluged?)
So, it all seems like I could simply use Owncloud, but the problem is Raspberry Pi is incapable of processing such heavy-weight solution in reasonable time.
I ask you all for suggestions in achieving my goal, especially:
- How do I set up user accounts on Raspberry Pi so they are compatible with workstations' accounts? By this I mean that users won't be asked for credentials when they access their resources on NAS
- Any suggestions what software should I try for points 2, 4, 5, 6?
Thanks for all your comments in advance!

You could start by having a read here:

Personally I just use the Pi headless and then use Filezilla to move files around the home network, nothing too fancy.

Re: Trans-machine privileges
Yes, I have already searched that place but could not find answers, especially about user accounts.
I run my Pi headless too, of course.
