Will Android's apk work with Alpine Linux?

I've found out the Alpine Linux seems to have .apk support packages.
So I'd to ask this: What will happen if I install android's .apk on Alpine Linux?
Has anyone ever done this experiment on Alpine?

I'm not sure is this mere concidence for Alpine Linux to have apk package the same file extension as Android.

No, they won't. The reason why is that Alpine Linux is for x86/x64 processors, while Android runs on ARM processors.
