if you want to build your own, based on another O/S, then this may work for you:

On a lighter note, I have seen people building Operating Systems using the same tool, however using as the base for example running Ultimate Edition 4.2, in building Ultimate Edition 4.3.
I will formulate the tool to not care what Operating System you are running and just provide exactly what you want.
& I built Ultimate Edition 4.4 (Ubuntu Utopic Unicorn 14.10 based) with 5 additional DE (desktop environments) 2 or 3 days ago and very successfully - I may add; it is just a matter of time
tmosb is sill in it's infancy, but it has potential to build the O/S - exactly as you would want.
