Out of the box mint with new hardware

Post by ktheking »

I just stumbled upon this one : http://www.itpro.co.uk/laptops/23412/hp ... -g1-review

Seems HP had chosen Ubuntu to put on one of their laptop models.
That's a shame ,because Mint would have given a better user experience here.

I wonder if there are already laptop and desktop hardware vendors that had chosen Mint for their OS.

If hardware vendors were to choose Mint , this would bring some important financial means to Mint community.

Kind regards,

K.

CompuLab (MintBox 2) and ThinkPenguin are partners of Linux Mint offering various computers with Linux Mint: http://www.linuxmint.com/store.php.

Ubuntu sucks, heh. But since it is what made Linux Mint come to be... there's a silver lining.
