Do you have a section on site that deals specifically with PHP, MySQL and Ajax?

Nope. You can put questions on the Software & Applications forum for help with installing / configuring / solving problems with software: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewforum.php?f=47. For help with programming issues you have, I'd recommend you indeed visit a board aimed at PHP / MySQL / Ajax developers.

PHP is rather a programming related topic so it's better to find and dig into PHP forums such as devshev, php.net, etc...
