Getting compton to work with 17.3 xfce?

Hi Guys,

Clean install of LM17.3 xfce. Want to use Compton.

Go to Desktop Settings and select "Xfwm4 + Compton" (the default is "Xfwm4 + Compositing")

Screen redraws, all drop-shadows and nice shading now gone. (was there with "Xfwm4 + Compositing")

I have my old comptom.conf file in my home directory (which worked with LM17.2)

Any idea what I need to do to get it going?
