gcc update question

Post by golf4fun »

One update to gcc arrived and it wants to remove 255 packages.

Is this safe?

I'm not seeing that particular update (and I have all five levels visible). Is it coming from a PPA that you have added to your sources list?

It was from a PPA source as I have used a couple. I figured I would do it and see what happens. After the packages were removed almost as many more were installed.

I like to live dangerously! Reinstalling doesn't take long if I had to do that.
