Hi there,
I am on Mint 17 Xfce Edition for the past year and a half. Every now and then, I get into a situation where I am unable to select background images in the Desktop settings are. Please see attached photo. That folder should have at least 20 images to choose from. Sometimes I go in and they are all there to select. Othertimes, I go in and it looks like the attached photo. With just a blue square selecting some unviewable image and I am unable to browse and select any of them.
Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix this?
Thanks!

Re: Recurring issue being unable to select wallpaper images
Hi there,
Thanks for the feedback. The path in the settings editor is correct and verified through Thunar. And this is a sporadic issue (sometimes I can see the wallpapers othertimes I can't), and I have never changed the wallpaper path.
Attached is a screenshot.
