[SOLVED] Xfce: how to realize shutdown when closing the lid?

Post by Pjotr »

I'm trying to configure an old small netbook that's running on Linux Mint 17.3 Xfce, to shutdown upon closing the lid. Currently, Power Manager (xfce4-power-manager) doesn't support that option.

I know how to make that possible in Cinnamon, but not in Xfce. Who might be able to help me? Any idea or inkling, however vague, is appreciated....

This is the output of "inxi -Fxz":
