Fuzzy Screen(Icons & Wallpaper)

Post by Solace7 »

Greetings All,

Just installed Linux Mint 17.2 Mate
In both Mate & XFCE Desktop environments icons and wallpapers become fuzzy and blurry.

Please generate an overview of your system like this:
- launch a terminal window and make it full screen, to avoid chopped lines;
- copy/paste this command into the terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter)

Press Enter.

Copy/paste the output in your next message.

Can you increase the amount of shared memory for the video chipset, in the settings of the BIOS? If so, increase it to the maximum.

There isn't an option to increase it in the BIOS.
