Just downloaded clementine music player on Linux Mint 17.1 xfce.
Pic related.
Any help to resolve this as soon as possible would be much appreciated.

Re: Text in symbols/shapes?
LM Menu -> System Settings (image of gears) -> Fonts -> verify you're not using some weird font as any of the defaults.
Re: Text in symbols/shapes?
The only thing I can think of is ...
Are you missing some fonts? Figure out what font Clementine is using. Then see what font you have. If you don't have their font, then things can go wierd.
Also in Clementine, is there a way to change font (i.e., check the option, preferences, whatever)?

Well, there's your problem. That's what dingbats looks like. Change to a different font.goodair06 wrote:No, just dingbats as the font. Really strange

Lol, yeah, it's a font of symbols. So everything in the OP's picture looks pretty much as it should .jimallyn wrote:Well, there's your problem. That's what dingbats looks like. Change to a different font.goodair06 wrote:No, just dingbats as the font. Really strange
