[SOLVED] Folder View Setting
Is there a way to set the folder view individually, for each different folder? Some folders I'd like to set as "View as icons," while other folders I'd like to set as "View as compact list." It seems that this setting is one setting system wide. Can't different folders be set individually?

Re: Folder View Setting
I installed xfce for a neighbor and this was her complaint also.
I finally installed the caja file manager and set it as default.
She was all smiles and didn't nag me about this again.

Re: Folder View Setting
Will using Caja nullify any settings I made in Windows Manager & Window Manager Tweaks?
Re: Folder View Setting
Thanks all41. That was an easy fix. And I see that it doesn't affect any other settings.

One new problem is caja isn't showing for me thumbnails of video files. I made a new thread for it: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=194938
