Memory Leak Mint 17.1 XFCE

Post by Mint_fan »

I've got the same problem with Mint 17.1 Xfce 64-bit. I installed it in Hyper-V and intend to use it as a server without GUI. I switched to text only mode in grub.cfg and right after boot it uses only 150MB with apache2 and bind only. After couple mins it uses 2GB and I can't locate what process is to blame. I don't start GUI or do antything except just checking memory with free command. So this topic is probably in the wrong place anyway.

Problem solved. It was dynamic memory setting in Hyper-V guest settings. Not any memory leak.
