XFCE 17.1 RC & Compiz

I tried enabling compiz and it seems to work ok but when I change the theme I lose the window borders. I'm new to using compiz.

Do you have Window Decorations enabled in compiz settings manager ?

Yes it is enabled. I tried again just now and as long as I keep the default window borders its fine but when I switch to a different one I lose the window borders or it won't change.

Thanks richyrich. I have been using XFCE but never dealt with compiz so this link should help.
