Hi!
I have tried to trawl the net and the Mint forum, but being an old git I can't find any good answers.
You guys are always so nice, maybe you can help me?
Will there be a 17.1 version of the Xfce and if so do you have any idea when?
The wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Li ... t_releases
has no dates for either KDE or Xfce.
Regards
Mikael

Hello, Mikael.
Please, have look at this post. No warranty given that the timespans between Mate/Cinnamon and KDE / xfce will be exactly the same as with Mint 17.
Cheers,
Karl

Re: Mint 17.1 Rebecca Xfce?
I hope the new version of Mint XFCE will have the new version of the xfce-hardware-monitor; I tried to install it manually via the .DEB, but ran into dependency issues.
xfce4-hardware-monitor-plugin_1.4.6-1_amd64.deb
Actually, since there has been a great deal of XFCE development this year (both new features and lots of bug fixes), I'm hoping for a lot of updated versions. Otherwise, I'll just keep running 17, I guess.
