As far as I know, "hot corners" is a feature on the GNOME desktop, not on Xfce. However, there's a package called Brightside that might be a good work-around for you. It's available through the software manager. (There's a screenshot of it in Ubuntu here: http://www.webupd8.org/2011/04/set-up-h ... ng-in.html)

The other option is to install Compiz and get into serious desktop customization. But I've never tried it, so I cannot give an opinion.

I installed Brightside but after setting a corner to display windows and rebooted it did nothing. How do you get Brightside to make the changes?

Have you installed all the dependencies? It should have been done automatically by the software manager, but who knows. Look under the dependencies heading on this page: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brightside/.

Method 1:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:landronimirc/skippy-xd-daily && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install skippy-xd

Settings Manager/Session and Startup/Application Autostart/click on Add/Name:Skippy/Command: skippy-xd --start-daemon

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xubuntu-dev/extras && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install xfce4-hotcorner-plugin

Panel/Add New Items/HotCorner (Right click/Properties/Custom Command: skippy-xd --activate-window-picker

Method 2:
You don't have to add these PPAs, you can simply download and use the correct file for your OS 32 or 64 bits and then apply the settings, the files are located here: https://thepiratebay.vg/torrent/12165641/Hotcorner
