Adding CPU Freq to XFCE panel? and themes lol

Hello, i just installed linux mint XFCE onto my t440s machine and i was just wondering how to add cpufreq to my panel. I was running a rc version of MATE and in that one cpufreq was already available under the "add to panel" option so it was much easier to add it. I tried sudo apt-get install indicator-cpufreq and i believed it worked but i have no idea where it went, its not in my panel and when i try to add something to the panel cpufreq does not show up. Also does anyone here know how to get more themes for XFCE with mate it had a nice link and everything but i dont know how with XFCE. Thanks.

I believe you want "xfce4-cpufreq-plugin", which is specifically for XFCE.

http://www.xfce-look.org/ has lots. I also recommend you look at the Greybird and Bluebird themes - http://shimmerproject.org/. These also happen to be used by xubuntu and I use parts of each in my Mint desktop.

In addition to above, you can find some more themes and icon sets on this page: http://www.noobslab.com/2011/11/themes- ... unity.html. Most of the ones marked as GTK3 and/or Xfce will work. Follow instructions found under each theme for installing.

Good general instructions on how to install themes you download are here: https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/install.html#themes. It's for a different Ubuntu-based distro that uses Xfce, but should work similarly in Mint.
