When I initiate VPN mode, the Network Manager icon shows the animated padlock, but after connecting to VPN, the icon reverts to it's default connection condition. The connection to the VPN server is made and everything works fine on the network.
Just a small thing, but it makes it a bit of a hassle to need to always look at the VPN status to determine if it is connected to VPN.
The only reference I could find to this problem on search was a problem in 2012 with an older version.
