hi everyone,
i already posted this question in the newbie forum (http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=139959 ) but couldn't get help there.
my problem (i'm using mint 13 xfce on a thinkpad): after installation, i created some launchers on the panel, which worked fine. but now when i'm trying to modify the panel (creating new launchers, deleting old ones, creating a 'suspend' shortcut) all changes are lost after rebooting.
even after deleting one of the programs, the shortcut remains on the panel (displaying an error icon though).
i tried saving all sessions related to xfce (as far as i could guess which ones are related) after making the modifications. but after reboot, everything's gone again.
any ideas?

i noticed that also other modifications are not saved: e.g. when i switch off the touchpad, it's on again after reboot.
so maybe this is not about xfce?
