When is Plasma 5 coming to Mint?

I've used Mint before but only for a few months. I'm on Fedora 21 right now and I'm thinking about coming back to Mint. The spin of Mint I would go for is the plasma spin. I don't want to do so though until Plasma 5 comes to Mint, so... When will KDE Plasma 5 come to Mint? Is it coming next release cylce? If so, when is the next release cycle?
