[SOLVED] realtek 8188ee dropping and reconnecting

ive checked out the other related posts and went through the steps but nothing is working, please be complete in your instructions. IM new to linux.

Hi,

Please open a terminal window and issue the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py

Then paste the resulting output in here. It will help us troubleshoot your problem.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hanipouspilot/rtlwifi
apt update
apt install rtlwifi-new-dkms

Reboot.

i think this may have fixed it??? if i continue to not drop connection, i will mark it as [solved] for others to try as well.... thank you
