Hi All:
I installed Linux Mint on two computers, Macbook Air 13" and 11". The 13" inch install was flawless. However, the installation on the 11" is giving me wifi problems. With the USB Live stick, I am able to navigate to "Drive Manager" and it tells me the the network card is not active and gives me 3 or 4 recommendations. I select the first option and after installing the alternative driver my wifi works. But when I remove the USB Live stick and boot directly into Linux Mint, the wifi card is not detected at all. I navigate back to "Drive Manager" and it gives me this error:
Drivers cannot be installed. Please connect to the Internet or insert the Linux Mint installation DVD (or USB stick).
I insert the USB Live stick and hit "OK" but nothing happens. The macbook detects my USB stick and the folder is there. Hitting "OK" does not get rid of the error box so I have to "X" it out.
So what should I do next ?
Thanks for your help everyone.

Are you able to connect to internet using a cable to install the driver?
If your laptop has no ethernet cable, you could use the USB -> ethernet converter which is bundled with many modern laptops.

For what it's worth, I'm having the exact same problem on a Macbook 5,1 (2009). It's weird.

@therealorion: that computer does not have a BCM4360 wifi card, so if you need help please open a new topic where you provide details on your computer.
