Can't change username wifi authentication

The username I entered the first time I tried connecting to my wifi was wrong and now it is saved and I can't edit it.
This is the username used for the wifi authentication and thus I can't use it without having a correct authentication.
How do I fix this?

I would say simply recreate the connection with the correct name and password
