Re: How install Usb adapter D-link DWA 131 E1
I don't have this adapter, in theory the installation should be so;
Download the Linux driver in:
ftp://files.dlink.com.au/products/DWA-131/REV_E/Drivers/
To Install:
Go to Downloads folder, right click on the downloaded file (DWA-131_linux_driver_v4.3.1.zip) and unzip here it;
You will see two files, a 20140812_rtl8192EU_linux_v4.3.1.1_11320.tar.gz compressed file and a readme.txt.
Open a terminal there (in Downloads folder), with right click and choose open a terminal here, then, type into the terminal, or copy/paste the following codes;
Hit Enter key
Hit Enter key
Hit Enter key
enter your password
All done!
To activate the module of your wireless usb, open a terminal and type;
enter your password
Try to surf in internet.
Some doubts, look at;
