Wifi Launch Manager (WinXp) executing to activate WIFI?

Post by HighTech »

Hi,
I have a Notebook with Linux Mint Rafaela on it. It has 2 Switches at the frame, but the switches are just like keys on a tv remote control. They don't have an on and a separate off position.
They act like are hardblock and are mention in terminal as hardblock.

In Bios I can set Wifi remember last state.

So my plan is to install Win XP in Linux Mint and the install the Wifi Lauchn Manager in Win XP.
Then push the Wifi Key. Then Bios should let Wifi on, even in Linux because of Remember last state.

How can I install or live boot win xp temporarly to do this?
I have an official Wiin Xp iso.

Thanks.
