[solved] Wireless does not work after using wired network

Hello
I am using HP laptop with AMD processor with Cinnamon Mint 17..2. After installing Mint the Wireless network was working. Then I used Lan cabled wired network for better network speed. Since that time I am not able to work with wireless network' How do I search for available wireless networks and configure my wireless network?

could you go to a terminal and post the output of the following command:

Ok that showed there were no hardware or software blocks on your card.
your RTL8723BE can be a little difficult in Linux. here is a page that may be of help.

Thank you Since the wireless worked before the wired network, the hardware and drivers must good. How do I search for existing wireless networks around to connect to in the same way I search for wireless networks in Windows?

click on the wireless icon / network icon in the tray. it should present all available networks.
