Hi all,
I have just installed on my Desktop PC Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon and I have several issues.
My main problem is that the PC is connected through a Mini Wireless USB adapter to Wifi. Before with Windows it worked good and stable, but regretfully not with Linux anymore.
What is weird:
- the USB adapter gets an internet signal (around 70-80%), but internet does not work.
- Before I run the Linux installation media and then tested internet and it worked great.
The adapter is following model:
TL-WN823N Mini Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps
http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/deta ... N823N.html
I have alreadycontacted TP-Link and they do not have any specific driver for Linux. Do you think there is a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Mini Wireless USB adapter not working, but worked with i
Otherwise, maybe someone could recommend me another option to buy a new wireless USB adapter which should perfectly work with Linux?

Please generate an overview of your system like this:
- Launch a terminal window (this is how to launch a terminal window);
- make the terminal window full screen, to avoid chopped lines;
- copy/paste this command into the terminal:
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter)
Press Enter.
Copy/paste the output in your next message.
