Wifi disconnection issiue with lenovo g50-70 with Rebecca

Post by muralisen »

Hi All,

I have a lenovo G50-70 laptop and in that i have installed linux mint 17.1 (rebecca). My wifi is getting disconnected often, I couldnt get
any proper solution.

I have observer a few points
* I have set the regulatory domain to IN, but when it boots it is taking only MX
* When i try to restart the wireless via Network settings (right hand side applet) its not happening. (pls suggest whether i have to do anything with wpa_supplicant)
* At the time of wireless disconnection, wifi is not soft or hard blocked

Really appreciate any suggestion

FYI-

One choice is to kill NetworkManager when connection disappears.

Code: Select all

sudo killall NetworkManager

I ran lsusb and got two different RealTek devices and a bunch of other stuff. How do I copy & paste what the terminal put out onto the forums? It's very long.

Please don't hijack someone else's thread, but start a topic of your own.... Otherwise it becomes very confusing. :)
