this is a virtual machine. And this machine has obviously no network card installed.
I do not use VMWare and I have therefor no experience, how this has to be done.
But assuming that the host has Internet connection I bet, correcting the VMWare-setting is the way to solve it.

And it says, NAT is available - something I (without knowing that this is VMWare) mentioned already in my first post. But without making the appropriate setting in the settings for the guest machine it can never work.JeremyB wrote:https://communities.vmware.com/message/2494759
