OK, first of all: why kernel 3.10 for Mint 13? That's not a supported kernel for Maya.... Do you have the same problem when booting from a kernel from the 3.2 series?

Secondly, it might help if you disable power management for the wireless chipset, and disable hardware encryption:

Thanks for your quick answer, but I don't know even what the kernel is, what version I have and how to change it. I was using this laptop without making any changes, at least I know about, for 1 year now. Till yesterday everything was working ok.. 12 hour later, today, without making any changes, the laptop is not connecting anymore.. The only thing I did is shutting the laptop off...
I figured out that my laptop has the indication of wireless modem at the f12 button, I pushed it and now after giving iwconfig in terminal I got this but no connection again.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11abgn ESSID:"CYTA1"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: 58:98:35:3B:03:09
Bit Rate=1 Mb/s Tx-Power=16 dBm
Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Power Management:off
Link Quality=70/70 Signal level=-19 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:1 Missed beacon:0

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

upgradind to mint 17.1 will solve the problem? I wanted to upgrade anyway, so maybe this is the time?

That sounds like a good idea.... If there's still a problem then (hopefully not), getting help with troubleshooting will be easier. Because most forum members here, are already running Mint 17.1 on all of their machines.
