Is there a wifi switch that is off? Does the FN+F8 combo change the results of

Code: Select all

rfkill list
indodwi

Thanks for your reply JeremyB.
There's no physical switch on my laptop & fn function is not working. In Windows the fn function for WiFi is working. But yesterday I found a solution. I have to reset bios setting to default. Just entering bios on startup by pressing f2 and then press f9 for default setting. I think it was solved. But I still hope there's another way to make my WiFi on, because changing my WiFi on and off by using bios is exhausting.

This might be an issue with the toshiba_acpi module, so let it boot normally into LM once, so wifi is hard blocked and see if the following works in terminal

Code: Select all

sudo modprobe -r toshiba_acpi

Code: Select all

sudo rfkill unblock all

Code: Select all

rfkill list
Locked
