hey, when plug usb wifi (dlink dwa123 n150) linux (networkmanager) does not recognizes it, ifconfig and iwconfig shows it but i can not power up it using "ifconfig wlanx up" command (seems not working command! no message no error) . if reboot linux to windows, and it works well, then i reboot to linux and plug wifi again, it works !! what happen?
what i have to do in first linux boot to wifi usb works?
i blacklisted some modules and it uses rt2800usb driver,
wireless usb does not sets on

i installed that but it stil don't work in restart of start linux, i have to boot to windows and then reboot to linux to work,
"ip link show wlan1" says device is DOWN, after coming back from linux it says "UP",

i just restart linux mint to windows xp and after some minutes, restart back to linux mint and usb cart works fine and connects to network !!

Is there something wrong with the internal wifi? If that does work, it might be easier to figure out. I would edit the blacklist file and delete the lines with iwldvm and iwlwifi and then and reboot without the USB plugged in

Ok, can you disable the internal wifi in BIOS or just remove it from the computer?
