in linux mint 17 i am not able to connect to wifi if i change my MAC which was possible in previous versions .
i am not able to connect to wifi unless i try to connect with its original mac address
can anyone tell me simply how to chnage mac address in linux mint 17
as
1 - Cloning MAC , 2 -- ifconfig command and 3 --- Macchanger
are not able to do this job

i guess its a problem with networkmanager, if i do the "normal" procedure (deactivate wireless(wether ifdown or simply declick wirelles on nm) macchanger -m mac reactivate) it does work like a charm, ....
