I hate to disappoint you, but Mint 16 is obsolete for over 6 months now and therefore no longer supported and maintained. Unless you don't want to upgrade and still want to use Mint 16, there's no reason to provide you with any solution for Mint 16.
Mint 17 and Mint 13 are both still maintained and supported due to the reason that both versions are so-called LTS versions, meaning: Long Term Support:
